Rainbows and Stars

“When it rains, look for rainbows. When it’s dark, look for stars.” - Unknown

Having a positive outlooks depend on your perspective. Notice that both of these quotes, designed to trigger inspiration require that you look up. You won’t find stars and rainbows with your head down, and you probably won’t be encouraged or inspired by looking down either.

There’s a scripture that says;

"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence comes my help. My help comes from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” - Psalms 12

Wherever you find the inspiration you need to do what needs to be done every day, it’s probably not in a 'down place.' It’s probably in a place that lifts up your head, encourages your heart and strengthens your mind - maybe it’s in a prayer, a smile, your favorite song, whatever it is that lifts your head - go there. Go to that place - as often as you can - and find the courage you need to face the challenges of today.
